The pole lost it's hook after playing with it 2 times and we only have one pole that works now. Extra poles should be provided.

get the other fishing game

When my 5 year old daughter received this as a gift I was very excited because my 2 year old LOVES the mini wind up let's go fishing game. The first annoying thing was the need for batteries, this very easily could have been made into a wind up game. The second thing was there are only 2 poles, and finally these fish aren't magnetic. there are little hooks on the end of the pole that you have to hook on the inside of the fishes mouth. They can then very easily fall off.

Yes, I can play the game and hook the fish, but my daughters have more trouble, and my 2 year old (well not technically in the age range recommended) cannot play this game while she adores playing the one with the magnetic fish. So if you are considering getting this game I would suggest getting the let's go fishing game instead.

Gone Fishing Game

This is the second Gone Fishing Game I have purchased. The first one was for a nephew who enjoyed the game as intended until his baby brother decided to destroy the fish. This one is played while the baby is napping.
